I've had many people tell me to live by the bible and I wil be saved. Interesting concept, only if they themselves would do it. Honestly most of those who are religious and say they live their life by the bible really don't, from what i've notice. If you compare their lives to the bible, you'll find out that they pick and choose which parts they wanna follow and which parts they wanna ignore. It seems that they make the bible fit their lifestyle and not make their lifestyle fit the bible.

Well, I live my life by a combination of what I read in scripture, what I feel is right inside, what I've learned at school, what I've learned from my family, what I've learned from experience, and by my own human frailties.

yeah, I think that covers about everything, it's not all that glorious really, but it's the best I've got.

My study of the scriptures of various religions has revealed that none has answers to all of life's questions and none is a flawless guide for moral living. I recommend that you study ethics and philosophy instead. Look to the examples of those whose lives and actions you admire. In your dealings with others, be guided by the ethic of reciprocity (Golden Rule), even if others don't. Sure, you'll get shafted now and then, but at least you'll be setting a good example and part of the solution, not adding to the problem.

I believe that being saved is a separate issue from how you live your life. A person is saved through belief in Jesus, not through anything that we do. It is our faith in Him that saves us. Nothing we do can "earn" us salvation, no matter how good of a life we live. For us, being saved is simple. Look up the "Romans Road" on yahoo and it will show you the basic steps and scripture to show you how to be saved. (www.gotquestions.org/Romans-road-salvation.html)

We try to live our lives by the Bible as best we can to say thank you for our salvation and to spread the Word but everyone falls short of the mark set by Jesus (as you will if you choose to be saved) because no one is perfect. To live a life like Jesus lead should be our goal after salvation. Regardless of what everyone else does or doesn't do, it's for Him and Him alone that we should live. We should look up on our brethren who fall short of the mark with compassion, not condemnation. So, to answer your question, yes, I try to live by the Bible, by what Jesus taught but I, like all Christians, fall short of the goal set before me. BUT, that doesn't keep me from getting up and trying again and again and again....

I live my life using the Bible as guidance, but being the human I am, I make mistakes but I know that if I repent my sins will be forgiven and that God does not even expect us to be perfect.God's grace and forgiveness is the biggest gift to mankind!

The bible, as is the pirate's code, are more like guidelines. It's good to follow the spirit of the teachings, not the letter.

Sleep, eat, work - its daily routine.

As long as they follows a guideline about life, it doesnt matter which part of the bible or quran you choose to follow.

verses in the bible can be taken anyway you want to take them. i hate it. people use the bible as a weapon with their verses. i say live your life however it makes you happy (without hurting others, of course) but leave others alone, and dont try to judge others based on a book

I live my life the best I can. I may stray or mess up, but I am always guided back to the narrow way of Christ.
