I'm trying to plan out my time preparing for a party (luau) next week. I have found several yummy tasting coconut shrimp recipes to use for an appetizer. I would love to be able to dip and fry them the night before. Then, pop them into the oven for a few minutes before serving the next day. Is this a good idea? Everything I read says "serve immediately." Thanks!

No! Any shrimp should be cooked and eaten immediately. This is something you really cannot cook ahead of time, refriderate, and then reheat. You risk making your guests and yourself ill buy doing this.

Do not reheat shellfish of any type. Tuna steaks, and some other fish, are ok to reheat. Shrimp and other shellfish are NOT.

I know that's probably not the answer you wanted to hear given shrimp can be pricey.
