I'm pretty sure my screaming would wake up the entire plane.
Seriously though, yes, so that the person can put the air mask on and prepare for a ruff landing.

You better not wake me. I'll wake up after we've crashed landed. In this case I will survive (confused sure but alive) and you probably won't

I'm sure they wouldn't be asleep for too long considering the inevitable screams from other passengers that are bound to happen.

I'd wake them up just incase there might be a chance that he/she would survive. But, then again if I had someone of knowing everyone would die, then I don't see why I would wake them. I'd rather die in my sleep then in pain...

why spoil someones sleep your more relaxed when asleep so if there was any chance of survivors then that person would probably be one of them.

No, I wouldn't want to listen to any more screaming. I'd be too busy trying to secure myself for crash position & trying to cover my ears at the same time. The noise would make me crazy, so why that hadn't woken up the sleeping guy....I dunno.

Yup. On the off chance we don't die on impact, I would want the people around me alert as possible.

Trust me, they'd be awake! I've been on two flights were we had to prep for a possible crash. EVERYONE was WIDE AWAKE!
