Alternatively, you need to find the closest Federal Passport Office near you. Go there in person, and bring your birth certificate and photo ID. If you have the patience, you should be able to get it THAT DAY. I live in California, and had to go to San Francisco to get mine for a business trip. It was exhausting, and I sat for hours in a huge room filled with frantic people needing the same thing....but, I finally got it.

passdport??? to missouri?? you gotta be kidding!!! you DON'T need a passport to travel within the usa. used to not need one for mexico or canada either until9/11.

Submit your paperwork at the post office and be sure to expidite it. Then go to your local congressman's office and tell them that you need it asap. they should be able to have it in a couple of days.
