yes your body is recooperating from the virus itself you have to give it time and rest just as you would had you still been sick your immune system takes time to heal perhaps you should go to the drug store and buy supplements and take em till you get better

yes its very normal. Afterall, your body DID fought a battle with the microorganisms that gave you the flu. So your body just still wants to rest (ergo, put it in relax/slow/"down" mode) after all those fighting.

Also, maybe you're being stressed by something right now? Like missed work? Responsibilites that was placed on-hod becasue you were sick last week? Stress can really bring your mood down even more. I suggest you take it easy for afew more days and gradually go back to your usual activities (before you became sick)

NOTE: that guy Branzai (??) wrote what i had in mind. FLu is casued by a virus, not a bacteria. So an antibiotic which only has effects on bacterias would be no help for you. Actually IMPROPER usage of antibiotics may compromise your immune system even more. Just be careful with that drugs you take. Always ask a doctor. A good doctor at that, please. ^^
Get better soon!

okay, you did NOT have the flu last week. There are two reasons for this:
#1 it's not flu season, the flu isn't here yet, it won't be here for a few months yet, so it's impossible to get influenza
#2 you were on antibiotics. You can't take antibiotics for influenza since it's a VIRAL infection. Antibiotics are only used for bacterial infections

don't call it the flu, you didn't have the flu--you had something else, most likely a pharyngitis from strep.

Yes it is normal to feel a bit down after the flu. Your body needs to recover from being ill and sometimes it may take awhile to feel yourself again. You need to get your strength back.
Your body was so busy fighting what was trying to invade it that now that the flu is gone, the body is tired from all the exertion and needs to recoup.

Just baby yourself by giving your body what it needs to feel better like orange juice or apple juice or whatever juice you might like to drink. Take vitamins to put back what your body has loss due to sickness. You will feel much better in due time.

yes. very normal. your body had to use alot of white blood cells & energy to fight the flu.

you didn't eat much, so you are drained. I say relax on the sofa, gather a few of your favorite snacks & watch a funny movie.

Don't wallow in your sad feelings right now. It's not healthy.

Of course, it is normal. Your immune system has been battling the enemies in your body when you were taking a rest. Logically you feel drained afterwards.

Your body takes time to heal. If you are not better in a few weeks than maybe you should see a doctor.

Definately! Your immune system has been working overtime to get rid of the flu and it zaps your energy.
