Its weird, isn't it? They say they like nice guys but treat em like dirt. But they hang with badboys who treat them like dirt. It doesn't make any sense. All I can say is not all girls are that way, there actually are some nice ones who are nice to nice guys and prefer nice guys. Like I know a woman who got out of a bad marriage, it sort of taught her not to put up with an axxhole and to value nice guys, so she met a nice guy and they have been happily married for about 5 years now. Keep up the search, good ones are out there.

I am going to blunt and honest. This answer is the correct answer. It is not the girls! That is what a loser says to make you feel good. Like it or not your problem is you. You are making yourself into a doormat for these girls. All doormats are good for is wiping your feet and moving on. All the dirt comes off, and you are left with no girl. I am not here to cut you down, but I am here to build you up. You can remedy this situation, and I will show you how.
More great guys are NEEDED in this world. You are one! I was one of these doormats myself until I noticed what I was doing. You have to learn to respect yourself before they will respect you. Do not ALWAYS be available for them. Have your own life. Hang around with different girls. This is not being a pimp or anything. Just be friends with most of them like the great guy that you are. The girls will love you! What you need to change is that you are now a guy who is there when they need a shoulder, but you also value them as more than friends initially. If you see a girl you like, do not wait forever to ask them out. The longer you wait the more likely she will say no. When you first meet a girl, they think of you highly, but the longer it takes to ask the more they say this guy does not know what he wants. If you want the girl, get to know her a bit then ask her on a date. Not as friends! She will go if you know her and she shows signs of interest. If all she does is tell you her problems, you will never be respected. She is wiping the dirt off on you. Eventually, she will move on when she has wiped enough. Instead, when they do this, give them a shoulder and move on. If she needs to talk to it, let's go get a bite to eat. GET HER MIND OFF HER PROBLEMS!! Get it focused on you! She will thank you, and she will start to see you as her guy. This is the secret. She must not dwell on herself and her problems. Force her to think of you! You do this, and you can have any girl!
I forgot to mention that the way to get her focused on you is little comments here and there. As an example if she has problems with her boyfriend, say that 'If I were your boyfriend, I would never treat you like that!' If she has problems with a friend, 'That's horrible! I would never do that to you!' Do you see? You are always connecting her feelings to you. Soon she will become dependent on you subtlely; then you flirt and win yourself the girl!

Ah yes the question of the ages that no one can really answer.
Some girls don't want nicey nice. Some want men who cheat on them , lie and etc.
So next time just don't be so over the top with flowers and presents.
Tell them you would like them but...

Don't know why that happens, It sucks! Some girls go for the nice guys. Alot of girl perfer the bad boys.. Again don't know why... I use to go for the bad boys waste of my time, now I am married to the nice guy, best thing I ever did... some girls are stupid and like getting crapped on I guess...

Seriously guys who are so nice and sickly sweet are usually covering up for some other defect e.g. drippy personality; no imagination or prowess in bed; homosexual leanings etc..
Women can see through all that and will home in on a 'nice guy' and the users and abusers will do what they are good at.

I like the nice guys, which is why I'm with one...I've come up with the idea that they think the nice guys have an ulterior motive and are scared that they're getting played so they ruin it or leave before they get burned when in all reality they're just screwing themselves.

You are attracted to the wrong women for some reason. Happens to nice girls too. The bad boys and bitchy girls have their own appeal. Did you like Veronica over Betty in Archie comics? you are attracted to the bitchy if you say yes. If not, you have to gain confidence and forget these loser chicks. You deseve better and know it!

A lot of women suffer from the delusion that "bad boys" are better able to protect them, so they have no respect for nice guys. Just ignore them and hold out for one who can appreciate a good man.
angielynn, we men don't want to play games like hard-to-get just because immature women do. I want someone who I can be honest with and who can be honest with me.
