They really had to go by the old addege "When in Rome do as the Romans do." I mean...if they really HAD to do it. If it was a requirment and as soon as they screw up one time they are gone.

Probably not. It's probably hard to give up your heritage but that's kinda what you choose to do if you leave the country you are born in. It's ok to want to preserve your heritage, but the americans probably want to preserve theirs too. Be respectful and learn the language. Don't come to america expecting to change the americans. If you immigrated here, it was you who wanted the change.

This is the way they will be slowly deported. We will seal our borders, stop the illegal hiring and then just start identifying the invading illegals as they screw up. A traffic ticket, an arrest for drunk and diroderly, a drunk driving, a hit and run etc. will do the deed. No mass transportation. No big thing anyone can see or scream about. No bid deal. Slowly, slowly they will be rooted out and sent away. A small task force to track them down could put enough pressure on the group of illegals to where living here would be highly uncomfortable, always looking over their shoulders afraid they would be caught next.
This would do it. And I don't think they would come back again illegally either if this was the climate. The rest of us have to obey the laws and so should anyone who comes here as a legal guest. No illeglas allowed in the USA. Legal immigration only!

For starters, the 18-20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. could go back where they came from and come to America LEGALLY like my Italian ancestors did two generations ago. Then, they could speak English. They came here, "When in Rome..." fits perfectly here. Then, get automobile and health insurance so U.S. citizens don't have to pay for it. That would be a good start...

Our country is a Mosaic of many cultures and traditions. I think our only true national tradition is the celebration of Thanksgiving, which you can do as a member of any religion or race. So no, in America it is not "when in Rome...", it is "when in America, do as you will". I have traveled to many places, and I can say that The U.S. is without peer, the best country in the world.

Most legal immigrants do! You should not confuse legal immigrants behavior with that of all the illegal immigrants we have in this country. That is really the problem. We have lost control of immigration and the citizens and nationals here legally are getting fed up with it!

ok ley me tell you something for one reason its money we have always been the american dream to come here and make it # two why is it ok for the middle eastern people to come her and run our small buisnesses like liquor store gas stations etc. but if a mexican comes here to work our fields babysit our kids clean our homes cut our yards etc its a problem?
# three the states of california texas arizona utah mew mexico and colorado were part of mexico at one time we took it from them because we were stronger and had more money and i think the are jilted just like the american indians actually the indians were mexicans too. why can't our country let them work and go home freely?? the average american whom whine about are lazy and tell me would you bend over 8-10 a day to pick produce????

The question is: Do Americans do it?. The ones that come to my country don´t, so start by yourself. And just what is "american" to do? I think no one lives in tepees, or hunt buffalo, or speak cheyenne or navajo or whatever language they spoke. Remember that your country is a country of IMMIGRANTS from all over the world, always has, always will.

No, they wouldn't because mainly they're coming for money, it's not about anything else to them. We're kidding ourselves on this one...and yes, our economy will do just fine without illegal immigration. We've been sold a bill of goods for the last 20 years, it's time to enforce the law, and stop the charade.
