Forget the ball and do some straight leg raises. Lay on your back and keep your legs stright. Lift your heels 6" off the ground and hold for a count of 5. Repeat as many times as possible!

If you need a piece of equipment, then do get the ball. It is MUCH more versatile.

However, none of the excercises you do to strengthen the abs need a piece of equipment at all.

I agree with Gregg, I threw my ball into the garbage. Do crunches
and leg raises. Just remember to breathe properly.
