sonograms are ultrasound, using sound waves to diagnose medical conditions. they are used with digital computers and read by radiologists. most commonly known to lay people for pregnancy exams, but can show all parts of the body, veins, arteries and organs. you need to go to an accredited school and pass a state board to recieve a license, two years. good pay, flexible hours.
