I was diagnosed about 15 years ago when I was all of 14. I got better after having my first child but seem to be relapsing.(This'll be the 2nd relapse) Drs are no help at all so does anyone have anything that they do that helps? I already try to eat healthy, exercise, maintain a good weight, stay away from stress as much as possible etc etc etc

U may have Lyme disease. Tests are EXTREMELY inaccurate, no matter what the docs tell you. I have Lyme myself. I suffered for years with extreme fatigue, and many other symptoms.

Unfortunately yes...I was diagnosed over 10 years ago, thought I had the flu, couldn't get out of bed, lasted forever! Got on a good diet and exercise regimen, that helped alot! If you are having a flare up then I would go to your doc but know that stress can definately be a big factor in this syndrome! Good luck, you might want to join a support group, there are quite a few on the web. Take Care.

Do seek a good Endocrinologist Dr to rule out pituitary problems. Some time a small leison will appear on the pituitary gland that messes up your hormones that can cause this fatigue.

stay away from those who have "cure alls".

i would seek out your doctor for questions....make him question his ability, make him do his job!

have you ever thought that maybe you might have liver or kidney disease? what about a virus?

do not take your "chronic fatigue" lightly.

did you know that over half of those i have spoken with have been diagnosed and chronic fatigue was a symptom of what they actually had!

things to be tested for that have flareups....chronic mono, hepatitis b, hepatitis c, lupus, ms....many others.

Get tested!
