God is the only One who can righteously be jealous, because it's all HIS. He created it. We can't be jealous because God gives us what we have. He gives us the ability to work for things. He gives you enough life and breath to keep on another day!

God does not have rage. He does have jealousy in that he wants us to worship Him only. Also God did not give us these emotions like others are saying. The negative emotions that humans possess are not from God, they are because of sin. God did feel wrath against sin before Jesus paid the price for it but that was justice, not rage. As someone said earlier you need to backup your opinion. Show us a reference where you see God having rage.
Exodus 20:3. You shall have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20:5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God.

If you are talking about Jesus, he was a human while he was walking amongst the people, he died a human being. Read his last words and ask yourself if he sounds like a God. I know that the preaching heads out there want folks to believe in God the way they preach, but they do not know anything more than you know about it. Yes, they can quote the Bible, but those words where written by a human being talking about a God that became a man and died a man.
Faith becomes the issue. Faith is the issue that you must sort out. The preacher can not tell you what faith is.
But Faith just is!
Just remember that it all works out, somehow. Just do your part!

I think it's a very intelligent question. But the bible does say we were made in His image. I don't know how, but it's so. I have felt God's jealousy over me. It was sort of flattering. I was completely enraptured with a movie I was watching on TV...there was a scene in an 18th century ballroom, beautiful women in beautiful gowns whirling around, dancing...it was so incredibly romantic, my heart was just taken in by it. All of a sudden, I felt this "jealousy". It was God! My heart was not with him, it was in that movie. He wants all of me, all the time.
The thing about God is, these emotions are never like ours; they are always holy, perfect, loving and just. That's my experience, anyway.

You are interpreting God from your view. God has no human qualities. We cannot possibly know or understand complete divinity until the day comes it is revealed to us. Humans often form their own preconcieved notions about others and even God, based on their own place in life. To understand God, we must get outside of ourselves and not think in those standards. When you state it is almost as though he was created in our image, instead of the other way around...it made me think that is exactly what Satan wants to do to people. He wants to decieve your thoughts, belittle Christ, blasphemy his Holy name, and create doubt and questioning. Be careful, all sin starts with a thought and before long if we cannot control our thoughts and discipline our thoughts, they soon control our actions. Faith in God is key. You must build a personal relationship with Christ before you can begin to understand God. Read the scripture, pray, seek guidance from fellow christians, seek to understand God and not to question him. You will find whatever it is you look for...if you look to seek Christ, he will reveal himself to you. If you seek to disprove God, Satan will decieve you into believeing that too. God is devine, greater that human minds can fully understand for now.

Jesus was once human yet while he died he grew to alter into an angel in simple terms like all people else the sole distinction is Jesus is an angel which could do the diverse issues God can. Like safeguard the gate stuff like that and God would not appear as if something God invented appearances yet he can tAke any shape he needs and any variety

There you go judging the Judge, as if you had some kind of higher knowledge or goodness about you. How arrogant do you have to be before the hammer falls? Go Titanic, go Titanic, oh yea, oh yeah....oh sh*t....
Gotta learn it the hard way? Well if you keep insisting....
Anger nor jealousy are evil unless they are wrongly applied.
Contracts are to be kept, and promises are to be fulfilled, and evil is to be hated. It is the right balance and it is good to hate evil, and it is great to put away the stench of a liar.

You noticed this too?
I was beginning to wonder If I was the only one?
These emotions are usually the product of an insecure mind. I was trying to figure out what God would have to be insecure about?
For the life of me I could not think of a single thing.

Human emotions are from God. If man hates, rage, envy, violence you name it. God's possesed them all. The difference between God and man is that God knows how and when to use them. Who are we to ask to the one who created us?

hmmm does jealousy always mean that you want more of what someone else has or resenting them for it?
Couldnt it mean that you guard what is yours? And then how you do that would depend on whether it was proper. - I mean a husband should guard his wife's interest, but he shouldnt distrust her. and vice versa
Rage? Uncontrolled fury? please give references as to when he raged? Indignant I have found and action on it, but rage? I havent found that.
