The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is like the soul, the body and the works in a single person.
Jesus Christ is the "I AM" or God Himself in a visible body.
"For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
-- Colossians 2:9
"Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"
-- John 14:9
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you Before Abraham was, I AM."
-- John 8:58

Now whether you want to understand it is one thing. But if you want to know the TRUTH, then you would go by what they Bible says. Clearly, (to me) the Bible says that God is One God, who is Jehovah. He who is full of order, of wisdom and of understanding--even love, would not fail to put clearly that he was 3 in 1. Logically: 3 is 3. 1 is 1. There is no interpreting it any deeper. The BIBLE was provided in the first place to fill us with knowledge of the only TRUE God. He would not fail to include something apparently SO important to those who choose to follow the doctrine. You shared Collosians 2:9. Read Verse 8. What does that mean to you?
To me it means that the doctrine that Constantine persuaded others to believe nearly 400 years after the fact that Jehovah is the Father, Jesus is the Son was already established, IS NOT THE TRUTH.
Jesus said that his followers would recognize and follow his voice. I choose to follow him, and not what men have said.
