Pit Bull owners only: Do you think your Pit thinks it is a person?

Mine sure does and he has to be the center of attention! He is such a clown and will do anything to get you to look at him.

All you Pit haters please spare me your BS and horror stories. You will never change my mind on these terrific dogs.

I have a great pit, and he has no idea that he is a dog. I wish people would not judge them so unfairly. The pit I have I got for my brother who was dying of cancer, that was his last wish. For three years that dog was his best friend, never left his side even when times got unbearable. My brother often said that he would have lost it if it wasn't for the his dog. Many times when we were out with the dog for no reason people would go immediately on the defensive and at times try to hurt him. It always broke my brothers heart. The whole thing made no sense, I would often laugh because our pit would not hurt a fly, he loves the other dogs (since my brother's passing the dogs whole life became taking care of my Lab puppy) he also adores children, and if you said boo to him he would hide. And yet people are horrified by him. I previously owned a very unfriendly Akita, everybody always wanted to hug him but he would have eaten them. Its just pure ignorance.

i imagine quite some human beings get a Pit because it a macho difficulty. they imagine they are going to have the baddest dogs on the city. and they discover out, in case you do not prepare to be advise, they end with the sweetest dogs on the city. in the adventure that they don't look experienced to hate strangers they don't look an excellent take care of dogs. My pit loves each body. As evidence I actual were robbed two times. i'll in basic terms imagine my Pit bouncing around the crooks wanted to get petted. I actual have an alarm gadget now. i did not get the Pit for a take care of dogs and she or he changed into experienced to be a human beings dogs. In my adventure, through the years, the most kin protective dogs I actual have had were the German Shepard's.

My Pitt thinks she is the head of the house. She sleeps with us, eats at the same time. She is so spoiled, if the grass is wet she wont walk in it, she rides in the car everywhere we go...and she is 73lbs..... I love my dog she is the sweetest and most lovable dog I ever had. But........she gets so jealous if we ignore her, we tried to get another puppy and she stopped eating and would turn her head with this look on her face like(How dare you!!). I think she really thinks she is human, I spoiled her so much but she is the funniest dog ever.

I love my pit. she is so pretty, and yes she will do about anything for attention. she surprised me this morning when the neighbors shiztsu approached her and she didn't go ape sh*t. the neighbors dog got lucky. i love my baby. her name is Isis. she is all white and had a brendle patch on her eye. cute cute cute.

My pitt thinks she's one of the kids. She can't get enough attention! If I would let her, she would try to lay in my lap but she's far too big.

we raised staphershire bull terriors when i was a kid and the dog will behave how you raise it, we never had a problem in the world with those dogs and i think they are wonderfull............and yes they thought they were siblings to us not pets , didnt have a clue they were a dog , lol
