Be a gentleman. Open doors and be thoughtful by asking them if they need any help carrying anything. Something like that. If they are reading something tell them its a good book (only if you know it). Or say "That looks interesting, would it be a good read for guys as well?'
Don't fawn all over us though. Be casual like you are ALWAYS a gentleman to all women. Making a girl wonder if the guy is really interested will almost always guarantee she will think about you or see you in a different light.

Funny and cocky works for me. Beautiful women are used to being hit on constantly with the same theme over and over. When a guy uses a new and fresh approach I respond, for example I was wearing red slip on running shoes when a guy noticed and poked fun at them, in a nice way of course. Which made me laugh and I had a quick come back. It went back and forth and before I knew it he had my number and then just up and left. One week later he called and off we went for coffee. Yes funny and cocky does work.

How about no rude pick up lines or no pick up lines at all,just plain intro, followed by a asking something about her and then a nice, unruly compliment will do AND THEN ASK IF U COULD 'MAYBE' TAKE THE GIRL OUT SOMETIME. that is it, straight to the point and not rude or time consuming(hers, i meant)

just to be your self and to come up and talk to us and be polite and funny - as long as your not like doing work or if your busy or whatever that can be annoying because your trying to do somthin that probably important.
