I just opened a new vynil tablecloth for my kitchen table. I have guests coming today & I want the kitchen to look nice, but this new tablecloth is sooooo wrinkled from being packed in a bag way too small for it to have been stuffed into (How do they do that anyway? And why can we never get things folded & put back the way they were?)
Any suggestions on how I can get the wrinkles out & make it smooth?
Please don't suggest ironing it, mine is at my mom's.

To the person who suggested I use a CLOTH tablecloth, obviously have never had children!

Put it in the clothes dryer until it gets really hot, not hot enough to melt. Get it on your table ASAP and smooth it out with your hands & lay something heavy on it, like books or magazines.

Well besides ironing it with a sheet over it for protection.... I suggest putting it on a low heat setting with a damp cloth in your clothes dryer for a short time. This should get rid of the wrinkles.
