you can try mixing petroleum jelly with a little bit of coconut oil...now this coconut oil is concentrated, and needs to be softened by placing the container in warm water, this then to mixed thoroughly with petroleum jelly, just a little needs to be used sparingly on the scalp, and the ends of the hair to help thicken it, and strengthen the hair.
Another natural oil that can be used is olive oil, but i think it is a bit too oily for a child's hair, but apparently it works wonders.

It sounds strange... but prenatal vitamins have great stuff in them and are usually safe for anyone (male or female) over 8. Anything younger, try small amounts of vitamin E (one tablet or gelcap a day), or if it a lack of circulation, And you don't mind making a mess.... Try a mix of about one cup olive oil, and 1tablespoon ground clove or cinnamon. Mix it up, yes it'll be all chunky, try to get it as even as possible... A blend work really well if you're will to make a bottle of it at a time. You can also heat it up then mix it, let it cool and either way, GENTLY massage in to the scalp, let it sit for a few minutes then wash out. It may be a pain to wash out but the oil helps seal the hair, the clove or cinnamon stimulates blood flow along with the massage...

Try using Horse shampoo it works great. It is called Mane and tail or there is another brand that is even better cabello or something like that. you will be able to find at any retail store. Make sure that you use the conditionar as well. It works best if you use both. My girls hair would not grow either and now they have beautiful long hair. you should be able to see some great results after two weeks.

I actually know of a few things that you can use.

1. Baby Don't Bald©
2. Palmer's© Hair Success Gro Treatment w/ Vitamin E
3. Buy the book "Back to Eden" which has herbal remedies for just about everything.

I actually use all three of these products myself w/ successful results.

The best thing to do is to keep her hair a way from perms and try to keep it in braids. and one of the best natural products you can use for your little girl is this stuff called organic root stimulator. They have the Grease, cream, Olive oil hair sheen, conditioner, shampoo and many more products. I keep my hair and braids and use each product and boy i know when i get ready to perm it i'm going to be happy.
