Yes I certainly would I am adopted myself I’m bi-racial and my parents are white.
I don’t think most adopted children would ever try and find their biological parents and say their adopted Parents aren’t their parents anymore. Because to me my real parents are my parent the ones who have raised me since I was 3 weeks old, I myself have never had a desire to find my biological parents, its not important to me. However I do think the majority of adoptee’s who consider looking for their biological parent(s) I don’t think any of them actual start calling these people Mom and Dad, because for the simple fact they are not their Mom and Dad.
I also think adopting a child of a diffrent race or culutrue will just make your life more richer you could learn about things you might not normal have done.
If you raised a child for 18 or 19 years more you will always be that kids mother whether your blood or not.

Yes I would! I think when you bring a child of a different race into your race you have to be sure to teach them about their race also! Young children don't see "color" they only know "love" until they are taught the difference! The way you teach your child about "color" will mold how they feel for the rest of their lives!

Yes of course! I know my husband would prefer to adopt a child that is of the same ethnicity as us but really all I want is a happy healthy child... Skin tone is the last thing I worry about!

a home for a child in need of a family is an amazing thing. who cares about race difference. if I was in a position to adopt i would adopt any race, any age, any child that needed me, a loving family, and a home. more power to you. in God's eyes we are all his sheep, we are all perfect, we are all special and thats all that matters. God bless!

Yes, but if another family of that child's race were interested in adopting I would let them go ahead and adopt though.

Yes. Race doesn't matter to me. They would be going to a great home. Whatever culture the child is, I would teach them everything about it so they could be proud of who they are.

I definitely would, but it can be very hard. Studies have shown that children who are adopted to people of an other race have problems adjusting and problems with identity when they are older. I think a child of another race would be harder to raise as you would have to figure out how to incorporate your culture and their culture together. I think whoever does this needs to be extremely prepared.

Absolutely. A child is a child, race should not matter.

i think of that must be staggering. And specific, perhaps shifting to city the place all races are accepted must be the calmest circulate... yet think of approximately what your community may be lacking. perhaps staying the place you're and instructing those around you will no longer purely make your city greater suitable..yet your loved ones besides. stable luck alongside with your decision and remember the adoption technique can take it sluggish.

Why not? I would and my husband did. I'm Caucasian and my husband is Asian and when we adopted our daughter race was not an issue to us. We adopted an Caucasian girl because that is the one that we felt most connected to.
