You would have to check out by noon on the 25th, more than likely. So you would pay for one day, but only be there for approximately 8 hours.
You are NOT allowed to check IN until noon at many hotels. Checking in before this time counts as a day...

If you were staying one day, then you would be expected to check out by Noon (or whatever checkout time is) on the 25th. So you get your hotel room for 8 hours at the full price!

At noon on the day you say you are going to check out. You are charged beginning with the day you check in. Most hotels don't allow such an early check-in, however they do require a noon checkout. Some will grant you a late checkout giving you up to an hour or two more, but after that they will charge you for another day.

Its at the hotels discretion normally. Most hotels have an 11am or 12pm check-out. So if you check-in at 4am -- they will allow you to stay for about 7 or 8 hours. But ask when you get to the front desk. Sometimes they will let you stay later for free or small fee.

Ahhh, one of my peeves on hotels. You'd have to check out at 11am or 12noon of the same day, depending on the hotel.
When I was in the military back in 1991, I was travelling across the country. I had driven all night and finally stopped at a hotel at 6:00am to get some rest. The hotel clerk told me check out was 11am (I was hoping to leave after the evening rush hour). I wasn't about to pay two days price for eight hours, so I went back to my car to wait four more hours for the proper check in time of 10am. I fell asleep and woke up at noon.....didn't need the hotel anymore, lol.

At the hotel's usual checkout time, unless you requested a late checkout and were approved for it. Casinos often do that because they hate to lose a guest who might want to gamble later in the day.
Don't forget you slept in the room and used the bed so there is no other income from it - whether you slept for 18 hours or 8.

It all depend on that particular hotel's policy, usually most of the hotel will allow you to check out on the 26th noon if it is not a peak period and the hotel has plenty of room not occupied.

properly you could do the easy element and purely have the inn placed the room less than his call. certainly, I doubt it will be a situation both way. see you later as one in each of you is over 21 you receives into the room one way or yet another. some resorts dont even worry checking identity besides.. yet maximum do at present.
