It depends on the guy. I’m sorry to say, but guys are very visual when their initial attraction is concerned.
Each guy has a set of what ticks them: thin or voluptuous, long hair or short hair, eyes, lips, AND tall or short. Ask any guy. He will tell you what his ideal girl looks like (and it doesn’t have to be exactly same as the girl he actually fall in love with).
So, I have to say some guys are prone to be attracted to tall girls while others naturally avoid them. What confuses women is these criteria changes dramatically, depends on whom he meets, when he meets, and (sadly) how many beers he has had. Some guys might claim that “it’s a whole package thing”. As long as they are attracted to you, they are willing to overlook a few small factors. Confused? We all are!
Go out, and try it yourself. At first, some guys will respond to you, but you fail to get any reactions from others. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter if you are attracted to the particular guy, or not. We cannot do a darn thing about it.
As a tall girl myself (6' 0"), I know sometimes it becomes difficult to meet guys. It’s a number thing. Say, you meet 4 guys, and 3 guys are not giving you a positive feedback. You feel miserable. Your failure rate is 75%! But, how about if you meet 40 guys, and ten guys are attracted to you? Who cares about the guys who are not interested in you for whatever the reason!

Guys as a general rule are intimidated by women larger or taller than they are. That being said, I don't have that particular problem being 6'5. I have dated the complete spectrum from 4'11 to 6'1.
So I'll tell you what, I like tall girls better for the simple fact that you don't have to slouch down to kiss or talk to her. When I dated short girls, I felt like I was out with a little kid when we would hold hands in public or something.
Why how tall are you?

hun im 6ft tall and guys are intimidated by tall girls..but to most of them, if your hot and ur comfortable with yourself, theyll like ya.
and it also depends on how tall the guy is..if the guy is over 5'8" then of course hes gonna like the girls over 5'8" and i know ALOT of short guys like very short ones that totally are into tall girls..

Funny but most tall guys like shorter women. Why I dont know I once asked a guy who was 6'7" why he wanted to go out with me(5'3") instead of someone his own size, he said tall girls were ugly. I dont think so all super models are tall and guys are all over them.

I think that most guys like short girls ( 5'4" and under) men like to protect women they love. It is hard to protect someone that tall!!!
I am so happy that I am only 5 feet tall! I have a wonderful husband!

I had a good friend who used to say that he always liked tall girls because then he didn't have to worry about falling off.

Most guys are intimidated to approach, women taller than them, (dominate role?). Most women want a man taller, or as tall as them. I personally don't care, if I fall in love with a woman taller than me, so be it (what other people think, does not matter)!

I think guys like tall girls, but are a bit intimidated by girls taller than they are... It may have to do with our pride! and the need to be "protective" for the girl

Well im 5'9 . But if your personality was able to match your height, Id through on some boots and say ok. Height isnt what makes you you, heart does. I think a speak for all sincere guys when I say that.
