The answer lies within.
You are the keeper of your temple. Your body being your temple. Pressure from your other half can only add to any anxieties you might be already facing, but remember...half of this is your life too.
When its time, you will feel comfortable, and accepting of his /her advances...or perhaps you might be receptive enough to make the opening advancement yourself.
Both your heart and body will know when you're ready, so dont go putting in a million more questions in your head about it.
Bottom line is..."when its time, you'll be the first to know".
Not the other way around.
Dont feel you must sucumb to pressure. Often times we attempt to appease others, which only diminishes any pleasure we thought we would derive in the effort.
Remember, if you arent happy first, you cant make others happy.

Screw all the little rules 3 dates, 3 months, after he spends a certain amount of money. Go with your feelings. i've slept with a guy on the first night and ended up in a long realtionship. I've waited almost a year before and still ended up in a long relationship. it just depends on your level of comfort and chemistry with that person. It's not what how others view it, it's how you feel.

when you guys have been exclusively dating for about 2 to 3 months. Better yet, when you are officially together. It is heartbreaking if you see him dating someone else but can't complain because you are not together anyway. You would feel used and stupid!

It depends, but I'd say as long as you can wait...at least 3 dates, up to several months.
