love it for a boy, unsure about a girl named Rex. but in Kansas we don't see that name much so good school choice there. how does mom and dad (you guys) feel about it. Cause that is how your child will feel about it. hope this helped.

I only like it because of this guy I knew in High School. He was really cute and they called him Sexy Rexy. He was a cowboy and it fit him pretty good. But like other people have said...the first things I thought of were dinosaurs and dogs.

It'd be tough growing up with that name, even if it was just a nickname. For an animal maybe, but a child no. Even for an animal, it's a bit overused and cartoony:)
