Sure...who hasn't. Small white lies or exaggerations seem to be the norm as far as the first few dates go. Just don't go too far if you want a relationship.
I have never really felt remorseful. I would flat out lie to girls if I didn't care about them. Horrible yes, but no remorse really.

The only lie I have ever told on a date was that I was okay with him not fully committing to me. It hurt me in the long run because it wasn't what I wanted and I didn't feel respected. It was my own fault for not being honest from the beginning.
I think that if you tell the truth, you'll both get what you want... Although, it may not be from the person you are on the date with.

There is a thin line between lying and massaging the truth. If you tell your date that you have a Benz and they assume its a late model and you are styling and profiling, it's not a lie that you just failed to mention that it's a 71' diesel with the loud muffler. It is a Benz, just not what they expected.
