I can someone tell me all the steps to installing vonage phone and i have verizon dsl. i am so confused! please try to make sense as much as possible. and no comments, just the steps pleez!

can someone tell me all the steps to installing vonage phone and i have verizon dsl. i am so confused! please try to make sense as much as possible. and no comments, just the steps pleez! and the router i have in the package is motorola VT2442.

It's very easy...they can send you a router and then you just plug everything in and you're good to go. That's the only way I have seen Vonage set up. I have SunRocket, they sent the box for the phone and I plugged it right into my router and it worked automatically. It's a lot cheaper than Vonage too ($199/year which is $16.58/month for unlimited calling in US and Canada and also 100 minutes/month of international calling). Since DSL is run through your phone line you, you have to have 2 phone lines to use Vonage. If you had Cable internet, it wouldn't be a problem.
