The only danger you would face from eating ants in the park is the strong possibility that they have some pesticide residue on them. The ant itself is perfectly safe to ingest.

Well, isn't chocolate covered ants a delicacy in some parts of the world? I wouldn't worry about it. Besides, I'm sure you ate plenty more bugs as a child when playing and you survived it...
