Does anyone know what causes blisters on the tongue, and bleeding gums, my husband has had this for some time and it is driving him mad, he has used all the mouth washes on the market and still can't get rid of them.

maybe due to vitamin c deficiency. but it is better to be safe than sorry. i would suggest that you see your doctor for a thorough examination :)

Differential diagnosis:
Scurvy, leukemia, peritdontitis, foot and mouth disease, canker sores.

Probably should make an appointment and get that seen.

As much as I hate to say it... Sounds like he needs to see a doctor. I would call your dentist up and see what the dentist reccomends you doing.

He needs to have a doctor do some scrapings. It could be a form of herpes or another virus.
