I'm looking for stuff I can get over the counter to treat a fungal infection underneath the toenail, but so far all I've found online is stuff for general foot fungus, prescriptions, and stuff you can only order online/by phone. I'll take anything topical or oral, but don't know what to look for. Especially looking for anythign carried by Walgreens, but will also try homeopathic remedies!

As far as I know, the only way to treat nail bed fungal infection (onychomycosis) is with a systemic antigungal preparation such as Diflucan. No topical product will affect it and no homeopathic product will either. It must be treated from the inside out with this prescription oral med.

general foot fungus medications will work, most other medications must be given out by doctor. this is because fungus is also a eucharitoic cell and the treatment will also damage you in the process thus must be carefully monitored.

My toenails were thick, yellow and ugly. I got some "Tea Tree Oil" at Sally's Beauty Supply in Dallas. I think other places would sell it also. It smells really bad but it sure works. My toenails are now white like they should be. It also makes my finger nails stronger. Good Luck!

Each night before you go to bed, slather on Vick's Vapor Rub (gel not the cream) and slip a sock on your foot.

Guaranteed proven to clear toenail fungus. It will take a while but it will work.

It was the cure-all we all used when I was in the Army, and it worked!
