You could use home dying kits, but as it is very dark I would go to the hairdresser. You really don't want to end up orange, or do you?

Your best bet is to go to a hair salon because since your hair is very dark black and you want to dye it blonde it will probably take a few times at home if you use the products from the store. I have had ever hair color in the book and I am a natural blonde and it was hard to go from a dark hair color back to my natural color I had to dye it a little darker and then dye it blonde after about 3 months. You might have to start out with something a little darker and then continue to get lighter that way it doesn't look as funny when it starts to grow out. Check your options before you do something that you will hate. Call and ask a salon on what they think would be the best for you.

I really would not attempt to do this yourself! Also if you are wanting to be full head blonde i can gaurantee you will have roots every two weeks maybe less,it would take a lot to maintain it as well as which even having it done proffesionally the condition of your hair will not be the best I would weigh up the negatives of having it done! I am pretty sure a really good stylist would advise you! good luck whatever you decide.

I'd really recommend going to the salon, because black hair has a lot of red in it, its very unlikely you will be able to go blonde, as it will come out very coppery and look in poor condition due to the fact you have lifted it up so much. Its likely to look dry and brittle so I'd recommend going for a light brown as there will be less evident regrowth and is easier to achieve.

Sounds like a reeeeelly bad idea but yes, you'd need to bleach it first and then put on a blonde colour. Think about your roots though! After a few re-applications you'll probably have no hair left to dye!

well what u gotta do is either go get yer hair done at the hairdressers, or if u wanna do it at home, then u gotta bleach it first, a couple of times maybe, then find ur desired blonde shade and dye it. make sure u use a good colour protect shampoo afterwards as u dont want it to fade...... there you go!!!!

I think going from black to blonde is a big step, and a bad idea.
Why not try going from black to brown, then add some blonde highlights?

Yes, this is called double processing. First your natural hair will have to be "stripped" then it will be dyed to the color you want. I highly recommend you let a professional do this, because if you do it wrong, you can damge your hair beyond repair.

yes you can, ive done it. you need a henna to strip your normal hair colour which is like a bleach. then you dye it a light blond. You need to do this within 24 hours. Henna first, then dye.
