I called my ex-girlfriend to get my things back that were left at her house. She told me no and said this was peety. I"m confused, everything that was left at her house I purchased and she cant use it. It wasnt a bad break up. So why would she want to keep my things.

I think girls that keep there ex's things for any reason are childish and need to grow up. That is why I say girls, not women. There is no reason or excuse that is a good enough reason for stealing because that is exactly what it is and many girls don't look at it like that. I have never kept any of my ex's things. I don't want them. If I am not with the person why in hell would I keep his stuff? I see some girls telling things other people took and thats jus as childish and other girls trying to justify why they took stuff. Like I did it to iritate her, that is very inmature and takin stuff from their marriage is way worse. Come on and grow up and live life....Sorry that your ex took your stuff I would just write it off because if she was that childish your not getting it back

I know alot of girls like this. I once had bought my now husband a 200 dollar watch, when his ex found out that I had bought it for him because we were back together and happy, she took it from his room and kept it along with the colgone I bought him. We have since moved out of state and before he left he told her he wanted the watch back and she wouldnt be bothered to go get it from her storage unit. I think alot of girls don't give things back out of spite and revenge. They are hurt (weither they admit it or not) and they want to make you mad. Sometimes its for the memories but she should know that if she doesn't give it back she wants to piss you off. The other possibility is when you guys split up she just threw it all away and doesnt want to tell you that. GOOD LUCK!!!

If they were gifts to her or something you bought for her you shouldn't get them back. Gifts are unconditional, but if it's your property that you left over there then she should give it back. As far as why? Maybe you didn't think the breakup was so bad, but it probably affected her differently and she bitter and hurt and wants to take it out on your property.

maybe she just wants 2 keep your things because she knows u want them. if she has no use 4 them then why keep or hold on 2 something that belongs 2 someone else. maybe she's not letting your things go as a symbol 2 let you know she's not letting u go, either. you must have incredible sexual pleasure cause she's holding on. ha ha

that's not that she's necessasarily gotten over you, that's that she's gotten over her discomfort, so she not has a reason to mistreat you. In different words, she's forgiven you in her heart and she or he's attempting to get on mutually with her existence. you're coping with the guilt of what you probably did to her, and to ensure that you to sense more beneficial valuable about your self, you want her to mistreat you. apparently, she's now unlikely to attempt this, so that you ought to regulate your guilt all by using your self.
