I am not a fundamentalist but if you need "written" just remember "Be fruitful and multiply." or, "If your brother dies marry his wife so she may continue to bear children."

The bible is full of begats and no one spoke of marriage until the synoptic gospels were written.

However, what you said in your question presumed that all the evolution that had occurred over millions of years before the dawn of man, including evolution of nonhuman primates into man early man between 200,000 and 50, 000 years ago, was somehow wrong.

The image of God that I have saw all of that happen and it was good.

Only in the last splinter of time did all the antagonism occur between peoples who, lived in different lands, spoke different languages and created different images of the higher power. These people used their own human will to determine what to call sinful. It is sinful to deny one's sexuality, in my opinion as it denies the biology we have evolved to possess. However, one must be so situated to be able to take responsibility for their sexuality and its consequencs.

Genesis 2:24: For this reason (God creating Eve and giving her to Adam) a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
The "one flesh" part is the sexual union. If you don't mind flipping over to the Song of Solomon you will read some rather steamy accounts of the sexual relationship between man and wife. God is not embarassed by sex - it was his idea. Isn't he cool!

You are looking for written permission slip to do what all others of this Creation do to procreate their species??? Please, think deeper...and definately seek your truths in all Creation, not only in a single work of literature---remember, ALL things are inspired by God.

God created all that we know, and sex is one part of that knowing---Come-On Sense, Love!!! And we are human...one of the few of that Creation that can use sex as a deep expression of ourselves...Joy, physical ecstasy, deep appreciation for the body's perfection...a bonding of like thought, a spiritual unity...what greater gift to return to the Creator, than those experiences from a grand tool??? Plus, it makes new bodies for more souls to use! How great it that? Although not, by any means, the only purpose for its existence.

My opinion is that sex is fine for married people and between consenting adults who are not married to other people. Sex is natural and normal. It can be a physical urge or at its best an expression of love. I don't have a problem with people who are gay. I also think that people should mostly keep their own sexual business private

Copulation was given as the means to populate the world & to bring each other pleasure.

Why do you think God put so many restirictions on it?

If sex was supposed to be sinful, then we would only have it like animals, only to reproduce. It is a very pleasurable thing that God gave us .

whatever. Somewhere in there (forgot where) it says that everything is okay as long as it is in the marriage bed. It also says go forth and multiply, so how do you expect to do that if you don't have sex
