Absolutely no one should be making fun of your weight, especially your mom. She should be protecting you from getting hurt rather than hurting you. People tend to have a one track mind. They automatically think that if you are heavy that it is always because you eat too much. There are a lot of people who are gaining weight due to health issues and sometimes they don't know that something is wrong until they go to the doctor. Some people fight to lose weight, but just don't know why they can not do it even when they exercise. Health issues. Tell her how it makes you feel and hopefully she will stop. If you don't tell her how much it is hurting you, she will continue. You must always think the best about yourself. Remember that people who think making fun of others and causing them pain are just ignorant. Their lives are worse than yours that they actually have time to interfere in your life so you are still in a better position than they are. Love yourself and remember God loves you, don't wait for others to love you. They are not important. I know she is your mother and I mean no disrespect, but maybe she herself needs help seeing that she think it is ok to make fun of her own child. I don't care what you weigh, I love you too.

Actually it sounds like your mother is partly to blame for you being fat. If you were not fat, then what would she do with her life not having you to make fun of. Fat loss tip on this site says "avoid negative people." Also links page (5th link) has Gov. BMI. Tells what is underweight, normal, overweight and obese so no one is "fat," only one of the 4 above.

Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.

But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.

So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Remember the above (not on site) and see site below to re-learn how to eat so you can be thin and fit for life. Click on advice for teeenage girls. You are not a big brat. There is something wrong with your mother.

If she'd get her act together and cook you some decent healthy meals, she wouldn't have to. Bring that to the table next time she makes fun of you.

no she shouldn't but if she finds out that you are eating too much she should try to tell you to eat less in a polite manner because the child will think that he/she is too fat and start to starve themselves
