Well.. I heard all these myths before. But the best way to do it is to drink tons of water to flush toxins out of your body, and a glass of wine with dinner doesn't hurt either. Ofcourse it helps to stop taking whatevery you're trying to detox out of your body in advance. If you are doing this to pass a drug test though, I suggest looking up the detox period for whatever you are trying to detox online.

I did a mini detox through juicing and I had a few days of feeling ill but now I have more energy. I drink juice (fresh squeezed) every day and it helps a lot. I did a 3 day detox, no solid foods no coffee, only fresh fruit and vegtable juice and water. I do this every 3 months or when I am feeling sluggish or after partying with friends. Try reading "Juice Fasting and Detoxification" by Steve Meyerowitz. He says to do several other things, like massage, sauna and detoxifying baths also.

"DETOX"??
Just what "toxins" are you trying to remove?
It is simply nonsense to think that your body is "full of toxins". Not true at all. That's what your kidneys and liver do - REMOVE toxins! If you have a functioning liver and kidneys, you do NOT HAVE "toxins" -- therefore, there is no need to "detox" and no benefit from trying.
