When layering it cover the bananas with the pudding they will never turn brown.

Ingredients 2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies 6 to 8 bananas, sliced 2 cups milk 1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream Directions Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top. In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Lemon juice works, for keeping apples, and other fruits from turning brown. Maybe it works for bananas. Take a paper towel, and soak some of it in lemon juice than pat the sliced sides of the banana-slices.

You can't. bananas have to be ripe to make a good pudding. When bananas get brown they are ripe and have alot more vitimans and nutrients in them. If u have bananas that turn brown I save them in the freezer till i get enough to make banana bread or pudding. hope this helps you............Flo

To prevent the banana turning brown, sprinkle it with acidic liquid, such as citrus juices (lemon, orange juice).

put the Bananas in lime or lemon juice so You can carry on preparing the other ingredients

this may sound weird, but if you cut up bananas for later use, you can put them in orange or pineapple drink so they won't turn brown

they sell freash fruit its a powder in stores usually around the canning jars it will work the best and only cost 2 dollers it will last 4 a long time
