I know how it can Be to Be unsure of God or to question Christianity. I've been there. However, God is real! We will all see Him in all His Glory soon. You will know the Truth when your heart is ready to accept it. This life can be tough and you don't want to go through it without Him with You. Through Life's good and bad He can be there for you. But,when the hard times in life come your way, and they do because people refuse Him and listen to lies, you will get through them. And you will a lot quicker than if you don't trust in Him. The Bible says that the Lord is far from the wicked, but hears the prayers of the righteous. Also, it says to commit to the Lord whatever you do and you will succeed. As far as christians and there salvation, each man has to speak for himself. If a person stays focused on being christlike and strives for that purity, the world would be a much better place. God Bless

This reminds me of a scene from the movie 'Saved' where a christian bops her friend on the head, saying "Can't you see I'm trying to help you??"

Yeah. That kind of mentality is one of the reasons why I don't identify with christianity. I know, not all christians are like this. But enough of them that I could never feel comfortable praying (or meditating, as I prefer to do) with them in the same room.

no, we're not interested in our own salvations.
we're trying to reach the lost, the sinners into repentance so they won't perish & go to hell.
us christians already know where we're going to. a 1 way ticket to heaven & not hell.
god doesn't give people gifts to use for evil, darkness. he gives people gifts to be used for the kingdom of god.
all this suffering is mans doing. we all choose to do good or bad? right or wrong? god has given all of us the ability to choose & make our own choices. it's not god's doing that we're all suffering. he'll allow certain circumstances to come into our lives to get our attention. we do wrong, we reap wrong. we do right, we reap blessings. we always have to blame someone else rather then ourselves on what's going on in this world & it's always god's fault. but no, doesn't work that way.
u need jesus buddy, either u'll go up or down?
heaven & hell are real.
either get RIGHT or get LEFT? it's either or?

Africa - it is the Catholic Church that is allowing all of those "African-sheep" to die by the hand of Hunger & AIDS.

The suffering in Africa is wholly man made, it could be stopped right now if the governments wanted to.

In Omen 2 - Damien's disciples were considered unethical and evil for wanting to wipe-out hunger, so go figure...

Pope = The Bad Shepard.

uh, no. Salvation is a gift from God, we have it and don't have to do anything else. It's God's will that none should perish, not even you, so He wants us to tell everyone about the saving love of Jesus. All we have to do is tell you, whether you accept or reject is up to you.

So why........? all you un-godly people, don't you rule the world and deliberatlely cause the suffering? it is because you are far more interested in your own earthly pleasures for your own desires for greed , lust, sex, ect.

the world rules me.
most of the world's suffering comes not from religion but from drought.
once we figure how to make it rain in the desert, we can bring salvation; TRUE salvation.

please tell me anywhere it states that believing in God will prevent suffering? In fact the Bible states we will go through trials in order to build us up. Hey, it;s just like mini camp the NFL players go through. They hit it hard in order to be ready to take on the season, Christianity is no different. Christians aren't promised a trial-free life. But faith gets us through hardships.
