The family is sporead out across the country. No one lives in close proximity of others.

You need to recognise that YOU have the power....not them.

Ever had someone do something that just 'set you off'...yet another time when they did the same thing you didn't have a reaction?

That's because YOU HAVE A CHOICE to react or not react!

You need to tap into your own power to choose your reaction. Only then can you really have control of your life.

A cool down period would be helpful. Talking to the respective family members about your concerns may help. Figuring out who has the problem and why then helping them to face it may help. Sometimes ignoring what you don't want to deal with will help. Being sure you are in good mental and physical health so can control your emotions can help. Considering family counselling may help. If after trying all of these, none of these helps maybe you need to take a breather from your family. Some people love each other but are never meant to live together...or be reasonably close. Figure out how much you can take of their bickering then take your own time. Relax! Do something fun and forget the family. They will be there when you get back.

BREATHE...COUNT TO 10 AND THEN BACKWARDS...JUST KNOW YOUR NOT THE ONLY FAMILY THAT HAS ISSUES...I'VE LEARNED TO JUST LIVE WITH THE WAY MY FAMILIES CHOOSES TO MAKE DECISIONS AND CRITICIZE OTHERS...

i have had problems like this with my brother. just the sound of his voice annoyed me so much. i hate the sound of swalling and when he would swallow i would go crazy! just every thing he did, talk to me or anyone, just made me want to attack him. but it goes away. be nice to your family.
