im having trouble opening my third eye and need tips on how this can be done and how i know i have done it

Some claim that the chakras can be opened via chakra gemstones, and that to open the third eye requires an amethyst that has been cleaned under flowing water before use.
My advice would be to meditate on it.

You must quieten the mind. There are loads of ways to do this. Check out websites under transcendental meditation.
You will know the 3rd eye is opening, because you will feel a tickling or circling movement in the forehead.

I would recommend that you ground yourself in compassion, empathy, and what you can see with your two regular eyes.
These other openings will happen naturally, but the quest for them is a distraction from a more central goal.

Use two eyes properly. Then u will know abt ur third eye.

When you see around you while your 2 "regular" eyes are closed, you'll know your "3rd eye" is open.
