For all you drivers in Massachusetts: where on a permit is the "permit number?"?

I can't figure out if it's the number listed with the rest of your info (i.e. date of birth, sex, etc), or if it's the number in the bottom left-hand corner.

I know on a MA drivers license the number either starts with an S in fron of it, or it is your social security #. look for a number with an S in front of it. I havent seen a permit in a while but thats my best guess.
