I just downloaded a bunch of movies off of WinMX and I went to play them. Only problem was my players wouldn't play them. Winamp won't play them, nor will windows media player. Is there a certain player that I need to download? I have windows 98. Can you please help.

Yeah, VLC media player. If VLC won't play it, there's no way. I had a few avi files that were out of sync in WMP, Winamp, DivX... you name it, VLC was the ONLY one that played them PERFECTLY! Amazing. Open-source, no-frills, free and legal 100% I normally use WMP, but for the few impossible cases, VLC!

first you should be sure that your files are not currepted. if they are not you should use different players to find out what is the best for it. Jet audio is one of the best players. test it. in the other hand if you cannot play it with jet audio try divx player. and nero multimedia player some times they code their videos. and you should check the problem some times it is about your sound card or graphic card.
