Without more specific information on your Camera, I can't give yo specific instructions. Consult your manual or download a PDF copy from the manufacturer's website. There should be a section on formatting the memory card. If you have a camera that only has built in memory and will not accept any external memory card being inserted then that cannot be done unless you have the camera connect to a computer. But I advise against doing that with many of these cheap cameras, the camera OS is also in the same memory space (Hidden) and formatting the memory will render the camera useless.

there might be an option for it on the digital camera itself - read the instruction manual and it should tell you. if there isn't, take it out, and put it in a memory card reader connected to your PC. go into My Computer, right click on the icon for the flash card, and select 'format'. that should do the trick.

Do you mean format the SD card on your digital camera? You can't format the camera itself. To format your SD card, you should have a menu option on your digital camera. Alternatively, you can simply delete the content on your SD card from within your camera.

It relies upon on what percentage megapixels there are, the shutter %, and the lens. slightly coolpix can not take high quality images the way a insurrection ought to, operating example. I actual have an old (many years old besides, with the way cameras are being produced now that's considered old) kodak, simple share 12 mp, and 10x optical zoom. that's not that enormous, i actual traded it and that i choose i had kept my unique digicam. I in no way use it, although. I oftentimes use my telephone, no matter if the commonly used isn't practically as good its continually with me. compared to my digicam.
