I am looking for a scholarship to do Ph.D program in Demography. I am particular about the one that is open to international scholar from Africa.

There are universities which have a strong concentration in African Studies. The London School of Oriental and African Studies is one of them. I do not know if they have specialists in Demography but the University of London is bound to have them. Also, the London School of Economics, which has a Global Studies Centre. I would research American Universities which offer a Ph.D. in African Studies, on the Internet, as well as those which offer the doctorate in Demography. You may need to research well in advance because they may require you to take some of the verbal and mathematical tests American students entering post-graduate schools do. If you are from a Commonwealth country, Britain offers Commonwealth fellowships: again, you can get information through the Internet. Best wishes.

Try to find the Higher Education Office in your state. And ask them that question . Good luck.
