I am in the same process now. My suggestion is find a dentist that is well recommended to you. Be very honest and explain to him what happened and ask him
-for your peace of mind- to take X-rays to be sure that everything is in order.
Good luck!

The first thing you do is make an appointment with either an endodontist (root canal specialist) or with a regular family dentist. They will be able to assess what possibly may be happening.

Infection post RC is pretty rare, but does happen. However, if you're not suffering any pain, swollen gums, nausea, abscesses, etc, then I doubt that is a problem.

The biggest risk to not having the RC finished is that the tooth will shatter because it is now "dead" and has become exceedingly fragile. It will need to be crowned ... and soon! The longer you wait the worse the possibility of having it break and ending up with needing a bridge or implant. Make an appointment TODAY to finish the work you started - before it ends up costing you MORE time and money!!

It won't hurt. The nerve was "killed" with a root canal.
You will get an infection, if not now, and you will feel that when your jaw becomes as big as an orange. Then you will lose the tooth, plus all the antibiotics.
Go to the dentist. If it can be saved, it will need to be cleaned out again.

go your dentist ASAP and ask. If its an emergency he will get you in right away. If its not an emergency go as soon as its convenient for you but still go in soon.
