Also, hormones (that are carcinogenics) and antibiotics are added to their feed. And they do not graze or exercise, except to walk very slowly to the milking machiness. Slowly because their utters are so full (because the hormones increases milk production) they must be very painful.
In a year they are inseminated again, give birth, and have their baby taken away, all over again, for about 7 years, then they are sent to the slaughter house. One dairyman said the Mother cows grieve the rest of their lives for the babies.
Wouldn't soy milk be a healthier, more natural alternative? I mean is it natural to take fluids of another species and ingest them? I know of one delicious brand that is loaded with protein, minerals, and vitamins and NO CHOLESTEROL: SILK

Sounds like you are buying into PETA propaganda. The idea that cows "grieve" is more fanatasy and brainwashing than reality. Milk is readily available that is free from BGH or other hormones or antibiotics.

As for "walking slowly because their udders are full", that's what udders are supposed to do. Should we ban cattle from calving because this will also cause full udders? Obviously you have never worked on a farm or encountered a milk cow except on extremist websites.

As for deciding soy milk or Silk or any other substitute is autmatically better, you need proof not sentimentality. It's not "natural" to take the fluids of tortured soybeans, either.

If you insist in getting worked up, take on veal, not milk. That really is raised in a sometimes horrific manner.

Dairy farmers say they are protecting their livestock from damage by removing the babies from their mothers. I'd guess they would know if udders are ever damaged by a baby cow's teeth, and they might be. I know human babies bite. And it's not unhealthy to drink dairy milk. I did along with millions of other humans, and I'm guessing they'd agree that we're fine and healthy. Visit a dairy farm and ask the farmers. There's a farm north of Indianapolis which is very clean and nice, and natural, no hormones. They offer tours. The reason they impregnate is to stimulate milk production, so no hormones are necessary.

Is it natural? Are you stupid? How can a synthetic prodcut be more natual than one that from nature?

Let's take away milk that is naturally produced and start drinking synthetic milk... yeah, there's an idea! Not all farmers run their herds the same way. Only an idiot would take the word from one producer and hold it to gospel!!!
