Your female would get on better with a male than another b*tch...however, if you are planning to breed them you need to be aware that it can be very costly! English bulldogs are notoriously difficult to breed and as far as I'm aware your female would need a c-section in order to give birth.
If you're not planning to breed anytime soon you would need to seperate the dogs every time your b*tch comes into season. Be prepared for a lot of hard work at this time...males go mental and will try anything to get near a b*tch on heat.
If you are only buying a male because you wish to breed then I'd suggest you don't bother. Hire a stud dog when you're ready for your b*tch to have pups.
If you're buying a male to keep her company then I'd have him or her spayed. If you still want pups decide whether to use your male as a stud dog and ask for pick of the litter, or pay stud fees for your female and have the other one neutered to make life easier.

If you need any more info, go take a look at http://bullbreedsonline.com
and discuss it with others on the forum.

This can be done, but you'd better prepare of a lot of aggravation twice a year when the female is in heat. You'll have to isolate the two dogs and deal with some pretty annoying behavior on the part of both dogs.

And the problem with two females is that they can become aggressive towards each other. Males tend to fight briefly in territorial or pack position situations, but I've seen some very nasty fights between females -- I mean, "last one standing" bouts.

Rather than get a male, it might just be better to pay stud fees when the time is right. Otherwise, you can have a lot more problems with the two dogs than you may want to deal with.

BTW: when a female dog is spayed, it's irreversible.

If you are having two male/female is the best combination.
However you do not have dogs tubes tied they are spayed and if you spay you can not breed her in the future. YOu could have the male neutered if you are not going to breed him.
But if you are going to use them as a breeding pair you will have to be able to seperate them for the time she is in heat.
Three weeks every six months.

you realize that english bulldogs are very expensive to breed. They have major complications. They usually can't have them naturally and almost always have to have a c- section. If you are aware of this then the mix would be fine. you would just have to keep them separate when she is in heat untill you decide you want puppies

I would get advice from your vet with regards to the mixing and breeding without spaying. As far as mixing the two sexes goes, male/female is the best way to do it. That way they will no who is boss out of the two. If you mix two same sexes it can cause friction and fights.

From experience.

Get him neutered.

Why do you want to breed her? If you're asking this question here, do you really know enough to be breeding her in the future? Are you planning on showing either or both of them?

Sence you said you want to breed her in the future but not now. I would wait untill she and you are ready to have her have puppies. Then get the male and let nature take its course. Good Luck!

So long as one or the other has been sterilized by a veterinarian, you should be okay. If they're both fertile, however, then you could end up with a lot more puppies than you want.
