It depends on who it was that sent you the money. If it is Federal/State or an outside scholarship, those are usually transferrable to different institutions. There are some scholarships and grants that are used at particular schools, like state, private and community colleges. Your best bet is to differentiate the types of monies you have received, and talk to the school you are going to attend. Make sure you have with you the contact information for any outside monies you may be receiving. Your financial aid rep at the school will be able to tell you where to go from there!

Best of luck!

It depends on how you applied for financial aid you either have to go through that source and change the school, or simply go to the school of choice and talk to someone in their financial aid department.

Contact the financial aid offices of the school you had thought you were going to attend and the one you are atually attending. Explain the situation. They can help you sort it out.

You have to call your school's student administrative services/financial aid/tuition office and they can help you.
