God made a PERSONAL appearance on the Mountain to give Moses and the people EVERYTHING they needed. The First of the 10 Commandments says it all. It's written in stone.
God does not make a personal appearance to have a meeting at the mountain for nothing. There was a reason. God knew "something" was coming !!! Jesus is nothing more than a temptation to get into Heaven around God's Law ... just as the Serpent tempted Adam and Eve to eat the fruit which would make them more like God.

You are right it is sad to say. The more religion is portrayed to God, the more God loses people. I wish it were not so, but it is.
Did you know the word church means" God's people",
in th langage that was used to first write our Bible? No mention of a house or what should be divined as God's words or doctrine. Just God's people.
My how that has been used to make the people believe in doctrine instead of God.
In the end God will win this debate of who is right and who will get to heaven. And I hope I am okay in the eyes of God.

im an atheist, and the god debate will never end in my opinion. it will always be "my god is better than your god" and it will never cease. im perfectly ok with ppl having a relgion as long as im kept out of it. i hate getting sh!t for not being a "believer". and yes, if all the believers SOMEHOW realized there is no god...then the world would have SO many less wars and conflicts..because if u think about it....almost every war was started or had something to do with religion somehow...

God will win when Jesus Christ comes back to Earth. I don't care if I don't get along with non believers because of my belief. I care what Jesus thinks of me.

The only thing that people who don't believe in God can agree on is that there's no God. Even evolutionists have differing opinions on how evolution 'works' (which it doesn't). It'll end soon at Armageddon. It'll be pretty clear then.

I suspect it will continue through out our mortality.
I guess we just don't get to see things like Elijah challenging the priests of Baal often enough to make everyone agree.
best wishes

Because I believe that people are so strictly in their own ways that they see some things of Gods words more important then other that God tells us, because we are so strictly in our own ways.

We are now in the last days, no one knows the date or the time the world will end, but there will be that day. It doesn't matter who wins the debate, it matters if souls are saved from hell and damnation. Jesus is the key and it is said in the Bible that on that day EVERY knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that he is Lord. Hope that answers your question.
