You getting "funny" answers because it's an absurd question. No exercise lasting for only 6 seconds is going to do squat for you.

If you really want to work on your abdominals, just Google "workouts, abdominals" or "workouts, abs" for results. But don't expect 6 second miracles.

My answer here is in all seriousness. I am a CPT and am unaware of any legitimate routine that will adequately work your abs in only 6 seconds. Is that a typo or are you serious? It's reasonable to thoroughly expect to train your abs effectively with only a handful of sets, but that would take several minutes to accomplish.

Frankly, if any site or trainer is claiming to have a 6 sec. ab routine I would seriously question their motives and training.

The abs consist of four main muscles: rectus abdominis (6 pack); internal obliques; external obliques; transverse abdominis.

The rectus abdominis is contracted anytime you do a crunch movement wherein you move the lower ribs toward your pubic bone. The obliques contract during crossing movements (i.e. crunching your right shoulder toward your left knee) and side crunches. Other than gross movements the other function of your abs is to keep your visceral contents in place, like a big bandage.

If you train your abs very hard you may only need to perform a handful of sets 1 or 2 times per week. Will it take more than 6 seconds? Yes. Will it work anyway? Yes. Many of these so-called minimalist workouts play upon most people's inherent laziness, that's why they're so popular. Many people are ignorant enough to actually believe a 6 second ab routine is legitimate. If it were don't you think everyone would have a ripped six pack?

How ridiculous! There actually is a 6 second ab workout, but it says right on there that the workout is for 30 minutes. It's just a hook to get you to buy their gadget.

no such thing im afraid who ever told you that a workout is only 6 seconds and has impact on yr abs. read tips on ab workouts on this site

1 sit up - 1 left knee up -1 right knee up - 1 sit up and hold for 1 sec.. 1,000 times a day..

ive got one, its good as a warm up tool,
i use it in conjunction
with my exersize machine
some of the exersizes hurt
but hey it works ive lost 2 stone this year
