Yes.....I am a member of the church of Christ (as a description of who "the church" belongs to and not a denomination).
Is there any other church that we are called to be apart of?
God Bless you

Yes, I am a member of the church of Christ (but you already guessed that when I answered your previous question, "What is the Church of Christ?")
Of course, even if someone says they are a member of the church, you should still compare their teaching (doctrine) to the scriptures. (Acts 17:11) Believe only what you can find in God's word!
A true Christian will not feel threatened by your wanting to compare his teaching to the Bible. In fact, he should encourage it!

The church is the body of Christ him self. There will be no other like the body of Christ no matter what kind of church or religion you believe in.

I used to be a Church of CHRIST, until I learned that "baptism" does not wash away my sins...
When JESUS died on the cross, HE took all our "sins" with upon HIM, with HIS death, burial and resurection.
To get baptised is to be "reborn" only. The sins were taken at the cross, and DONT have to be "washed away". (If that were so, then you didnt need JESUS to die...because all you had to do would be to wash them away, instead of having the LORD sacraficed for them).
But, I cant convince a lot of others to believe this way...Each of us has to learn it on thier own.
Remember, being "Spiritual" is what CHRIST wants, not materialistic values.
I wish you well..
Jesse

They are NOT a cult they have no strong central control and no extra biblical revelation. Those are the marks of a cult. They have this strange belief in baptismal regeneration and the idea that only they can baptize. Other than that I see nothing wrong with their message....Jim
