I have been seeing this guy for about a month. Everything was going good and we were starting to talk a lot more. This past weekend he called me on Friday night to hang out but I was already going to a movie and he asked me to call him when the movie got out to meet up. I said ok and when I called him he never picked up. I texed him the next day how is night went and he said that he got pretty drunk since it was his friends last night in town. i then told him that i was going out that night and he should meet up. He said he was going to take a nap and call me later. Well he texed me that night and asked where I was. I answered and then i havent heard from him since. What should I do. Does this mean that he is trying to push me away? Should I call him or wait for him to call me? I am so confused

Try sending him a text message asking about him and asking him if he would like to hang out...this way, when he replies, you will know if he was blowing you off or if he was busy...

Remember, he might be waiting for a call or a message from you...

It sounds like he is mad because you weren't at his disposal Friday night. He might just be trying to teach you a lesson that all men try. He couldn't control you so now he will ignore you until you give in. Lesson learned: you won't go out when he wants to do something with you. Don't give in. It is just a way to control you sweetie. Send him a text saying that you appologize that he could meet you on Friday night and you really were looking forward to hanging out with him. If he wants to hang out some other time just call or text. Then go on with your life. The ball will be in his court and it will be up to him to make a move. Don't wait by the phone. Continue having your life. If he never calls or texts then you didn't need him anyway. I have a friend and her husband wants her to call him for every little move she makes. First he was the perfect guy then he wanted to see her and she said she had plans. Then he would get pissed off and not call. Then she would worry the hell out of him and finally he would talk to her. Soon she was blowing plans with us to hang with him so he wouldn't get mad. Now if she is going to Wal*Mart she has to call from her house to let him know that she is leaving when she gets there she has to use the payphone to let him know she made it. When she leaves she has to use the same payphone to let him know. Then when she gets home she has to call from the house to let him know. Why? So that he will know every move she makes. It was all about control. Your guy is controlling you by playing head games. You might be thinking no he's not. If that were true you wouldn't be worried about it and waiting on him to call. Just put the ball in his court and if he doesn't do anything let him be.

First you want him for an 'after date' then the next day you want him to hang out with you and your friends?? That's what it sounds like anyway. In any case, it was only 2 days. Maybe you should call HIM and ask if he wants to go out with YOU? If the answer is NO, then you can stop guessing.

Just a thought.

A month is such a short time. Don't rush anything. Give it a week or at least a few days and call him. If he doesn't call you back after that, then lose him.

Boy does this sound familiar.

In my experience, he's blowing you off because he is mad that you weren't available on Friday night.

But who really knows, men are just messed up in relationships. Of course, so are women :)

He could have still been recovering from the drunken night. If you haven't heard from him soon I might begin to wonder though.
