my crush is a guy named james but he only wants to be friends, we email each other and he has written me back a letter because i wrote him before shool let out last year. im still in love with the boyfriend i have now and i do want to marry him but i have had these feelings for james ever since i met him at the beginning of last school year. what should i do?

By what you have written here it is clear you are NOT ready to marry anyone. You are obviously still in school or just completed and you still say the word crush. Your not old enough to make these types of decisions yet. And why would you marry your bf ?? You like someone else so that means he is not the right guy.

It sounds like you may only be 18 years old. Don't marry anyone yet. be engaged until you are at least 21. I don't think you realize you are not considered an adult until then. You cant buy a beer, rent a car some apartment owners may not rent to you. Take your time, and live your life. If this guy you want to marry really loves you he will wait until you reach at least 21.

You need to be honest with your self seems to me your having second thoughts about being married right now. If your bf is the guy you do intend on marrying, don't rush it. Whatever your seeking with this crush, you should be able to get from your bf. Right now your emotionally involved with the other guy and if you really love you bf you need to cut off all contact with the other guy and commit or let your bf go.

Girl... You need to decide this on your own. If you can be totally faithful with your fiance, and you do love him, then go on with the wedding... But if you believe deep down that something might arise from this... Then dont marry him. Divorces are never pretty and the dont look good.... So choose now. It will be 100 times harder the longer you wait.

So your real question is..."Should I marry a guy that I love and that loves me, or should I blow off the wedding and go for a guy that wants to be friends only and has no other interest in me?"
I say you need to forget about the wedding because your not ready to get married if you have interest in other guys. That's not fair to the guy who wants to marry you.

Do NOT marry your bf at this time. If you have feeling for someone else, then you are doing yourself and your bf a grave disservice by even considering marriage. And if you are so young that you still have "crushes" and are still in school, then I would say give yourself another decade before settling down.

If as you said your crush only wants to be friends ,then you should leave it alone.But if u can't be friends with him because you have a crush you should end the friendship.You really have to concentrate on the fact that your in love with another man and is getting married to him.Maybe you shouldn't get married just yet.see what else life has to offer!!

Your crush is just that...A crush.. We are all human and just because we find someone we truly love it doesn't mean that we will stop thinking other people are attractive or having crushes...that's life. If you think you can't control your urges around this other guy them maybe your not ready though. if you learn the difference between physical attraction and love then all systems go.
