Sin is any action, word, or thought that is contrary to God's command of loving Him or loving your neighbor.
Fun is personal enjoyment. If your fun is not at the expense of others, there is no problem. If your fun is disrespectful or harmful to God or others, then there is a sin.
Not everything that is fun sinful. Not everything that is sinful fun. There are fun things that are not sinful

I used to think I had to sin to have fun, all I did was wake up with a headache, luckily, I never did anything so stupid that it would stay with me forever.
Many of my "Friends" of that time were not so lucky.
Don't learn the difference the hard way.
You can have fun without Sin!
By the way, ALL sins can be forgiven.
Peace!

That's an easy anything that is intended
to Hurt someone is Sin. You can have
fun without hurting anyone! Putting a
whoopie cushion on someones chair is
fun and that's not hurting anyone! That'd
be fine but if you put some harsh tacs
the chair and they said on them that
would hurt so that would be Sin!
If you tickled a person with a feather
that be fun. If you punched or insulted
a person with intent to hurt is sin!
Telling untruths to hurt someone is sin.
If you told a untruth to bolster someone's
ego that might be fun fooling someone!
It's just plain common sense doing any
thing with intent to hurt someone is sin.
Fun is doing something that don't
hurt anyone! Giving some one a
stick of pepper gum isn't hurting
anyone and is fun. But if you
shove a whole lot of pepper
gum in ones mouth intending
to burn the persons mouth
out that
would be sin!

Why is your name Jesus 666? The difference is that sin is directly disobeying God and fun is just fun. I know how to have a whole lot of fun without worrying about sinning in the process.

desires are neutral
they may be used for good or bad, either joyful things that glorify God ot self destructive negative things sometimesunder the label of fun
God has desries and pleasures and the prodigal son had a party thrown for him when he cam ehome by the father (who represents God) the sin of his older son (who was a stay home prodigal) was that he wouldnt have any part of entering into the joy of the father and despised the good joy
the sin comes when the satisfaction comes aport from God, the contentment and satisfaction in God goes down and satisfaction and desire for other things goes up and you ';sell God short'
part of the problem is the word 'fun' sometimes has shallow connotations and 'joy' deeper connotation. I would prefer the work joy over fun as something to pursue and the joy being in God is no sin, but rather a means of honoring God

You can have fun without sinning and you can sin without having fun. It is fun for me to go rock climbing or white water rafting. It is fun for me to hike and backpack - neither are a sin. I will still have access to eternal life, yet enjoy fun here on earth. A life of drugs, alcohol, and promiscuity may be fun for short periods of time, but eventually causes chaos and hurt in your life here on earth and the life afterward. Fun and sin are not necessarily the same. You have to choose your "fun" on earth so it fits in the life of Christ - the life choices our Lord prefers.

Many things can be sinful, but not fun. Or fun, and not sinful.
Segregation was called "sinful." And I think it was.
Very few people would consider, say, a picnic or a day at the beach with family "sinful."

Depends on who you ask. For me, something sinful may be fun, but is also most likely unhealthy for me in the long run. Fun is something I can enjoy that has no (or little) negative impacts. Not many things are sinful in my book.
If you ask a Catholic, everything that is fun is a sin. LOL
(Reason #416 why Jennifer is not a Catholic...)
