im starting school in a new town where i dont know anyone, i need a quick way to make friends.

Be yourself, be nice and polite and be genuine because if you tell a lie about yourself you will have to keep it up for quite a while so its best to be honest. And you'll get along nicely, good luck and enjoy yourself.

If you're into sports...I would say play football. My brothers all played football in highschool without even knowing how. They had never played any type of organized sports and once they started high school...they thought they would give it a try. By the end of the season...my brothers had girl-friends...and lots of boys that they hung out with.
They were never really great at the game...but the friends they made were like a soriety of friends.

Just walk up and introduce yourself and tell a joke. Go and sign for different activites. Invite a girl or two to your house.

Be funny, charming, not rude. Try to understand the clicks. It's very important. focus on education, not on friends! Good luck

Get into one of the harder textbooks that you are good at and hang out in study hall and help people with that subject.
